on nov. 30, seminar on “industrial policy: idea, comparison and chinese practice” was held by cideg in room 620, the school of public policy and management(sppm) at tsinghua university.
chen qingtai, former deputy director and research fellow of development research center of the state council and chairman of the board of cideg was invited to address the seminar. xue lan, dean and professor of sppm and director of cideg, was invited to attend the seminar. the seminar was based on “research on industrial policy's transformation to competitive policy”, the research project of cideg in 2016. the project leader jiang feitao, associate researcher of institute of industrial economics, chinese academy of social sciences and research fellow of cideg reported the latest progress of the project, with his fellows: song lei, professor of school of governance, peking university, and zhang zhongwen, post-doctoral of school of economics and management, tsinghua university. in addition, gu xin, professor of school of government, and wang dehua, professor of national academy of economic strategy, chinese academy of social sciences, gave key speeches respectively on “governance embeddedness and diversity of innovative policy: re-understanding the state-market-society relationship” and “industrial policy under the financial scope.” huang shaoqing, associate professor of antai college of economics and management, shanghai jiao tong university, was invited to be commentator. chen ling, associate professor of sppm and deputy director of cideg, moderated the seminar. scholars from tsinghua university and other universities, research institution and media jointly participated in the seminar.
